How to Divide by 3:

Example Time!

Let’s divide 9 apples among 3 friends:

Start with 9 apples. How many groups of 3 can we make? One group... two groups... three groups! Each friend gets 3 apples. Yay! No leftovers this time!

So, 9 ÷ 3 = 3. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
