How do we divide by 5?

First comes 1 group, then comes another... until you make 5 groups in total!

Here’s how it works:

1. Pick a number to divide (like 10 or 20).
2. Split that number into 5 equal parts.
3. Count how many are in each part—that’s your answer!

Say we want to divide 15 by 5:

• Start with 15 cookies.
• Share them equally among 5 friends.
• Each friend gets 3 cookies!

So, 15 ÷ 5 = 3. Yum, math tastes good!
