What Are Fractions?
Fractions show parts of a whole!
Imagine you have a pizza cut into 8 slices. If you eat 3 slices, you've eaten \(\frac{3}{8}\) of the
pizza. The top number (numerator) tells how many parts you have, and the bottom number (denominator)
tells how many equal parts the whole is divided into.
Fraction Basics
1️⃣ Numerator: Counts how many parts you have (top number)
2️⃣ Denominator: Shows total equal parts (bottom number)
3️⃣ Fraction Bar: The line that separates numerator and denominator
