Understanding Comparing
Comparing helps us see which things are bigger, smaller, or the same!
We use special symbols to compare numbers: the hungry alligator mouth always opens toward the bigger number! 🐊
How to Compare Numbers
1️⃣ Count the objects or look at the numbers
2️⃣ Think: Which is more? Which is less? Or are they equal?
3️⃣ Use the correct symbol: > (greater), < (less), or = (equal)
Let's Practice Comparing!
