Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the iMath platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service
("Terms"). If you are agreeing to these Terms on behalf of a school or district, you represent you have
authority to bind that organization.
Parental Consent: For children under 13, a parent or guardian must create the
account and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Account Registration
- Parents/guardians must provide accurate information and keep credentials secure
- Institutional accounts require designation of authorized users
- You may not share accounts or use another user's credentials
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts violating these Terms
License Grant
Subject to these Terms, iMath grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:
- Access and use the Service for educational purposes
- Use content solely for student instruction
- Generate reports for individual or classroom use
All rights not expressly granted are reserved by iMath.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use the Service for commercial purposes without authorization
- Introduce malware or attempt unauthorized access
- Remove copyright or proprietary notices
- Use the Service in violation of applicable laws
Educational Content
- All math content is provided "as is" for educational purposes only
- We strive for accuracy but don't guarantee error-free content
- Teachers may supplement but not replace our materials with core curriculum
- User-generated content must comply with community guidelines
Payments & Subscriptions
- Premium subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
- Schools/districts receive invoices per agreed purchase orders
- Refund requests must be made within 14 days of purchase
- We may change pricing with 30 days notice to current subscribers
Termination
Either party may terminate service:
- Individual users may cancel at any time
- Institutional accounts require 30 days written notice
- We may terminate for violations of these Terms
- Upon termination, access to premium features will cease
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement or accuracy of educational results
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain disclaimers, so some may not apply.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages
- Total liability is limited to fees paid in the past 6 months
- We don't guarantee specific educational outcomes
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by California law, excluding conflicts of law principles. Any disputes
shall be resolved in San Francisco County courts.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms with notice via:
- Email to account holders for material changes
- In-service notifications for minor updates
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
