What Does It Mean to Compare Objects?
Comparing helps us understand how things are different or the
same!
We can look at objects and see which one is bigger or smaller, longer or shorter, heavier or lighter.
It's like being a detective looking for clues about size and weight!
How to Compare Objects
1️⃣ Look carefully at both objects
2️⃣ Think about what's different (size, length, weight)
3️⃣ Decide which one has more or less of that quality
Let's Practice Comparing!

Parent Tips 🌟
- Make it a game: Ask your child to find the biggest/smallest item in a room or compare their toys by size.
- Use everyday objects: Compare fruits at the grocery store, books on a shelf, or shoes in the closet.
- Encourage estimation: Before measuring, ask "Which do you think is heavier?" to develop intuition about size and weight.
