Understanding Positions
Hello little explorer!
Today we're going on an adventure to learn about left, middle, and right positions. These are special words that help us describe where things are. Knowing your left from your right is like having a superpower for following directions!
Let's Learn Together
1️⃣ Hold up both hands with thumbs out - your left hand makes an "L" shape!
2️⃣ The middle is always between left and right
3️⃣ Practice by pointing to things around you - "That toy is on my right!"
Fun Examples
Animal Line-Up Game
Look at these animals standing in a line. Can you tell who is in the middle?

Traffic Light Challenge
When you look at a traffic light, which color is on the right?

Parent Tips 🌟
- Play "Simon Says" with left/right commands to make learning active and fun ("Simon says touch your left ear!")
- Use everyday moments like setting the table ("Put the fork on the left side of the plate") to reinforce concepts
- Create a treasure hunt with simple left/right directions to find hidden objects around the house
