What Does the Clock Say?
Clocks help us know when it's time for fun, food, and sleep!
Every clock has two hands - the short hour hand and the long minute hand. When we match clocks with
times, we're learning to read both analog (clock face) and digital (number) times.
How to Match Clocks and Times
1️⃣ Look at the hour hand first (the short one)
2️⃣ Then check the minute hand (the long one)
3️⃣ Match it with the digital time that shows the same numbers

Example 2: Find the Right Clock
The time is 4:30. Which clock shows this time?
4:30
Parent Tips 🌟
- Make it real: Point out clocks throughout your day - "Look! The clock shows 7:00, that's breakfast time!"
- Play clock games: Draw clock faces together and match them with daily activities like "3:00 - snack time" or "8:00 - bedtime."
- Use a teaching clock: Get a clock with movable hands so your child can practice setting different times.
