Understanding Number Order
Numbers are like a train with many cars - each one has its special place in
line!
When we put numbers in order, we arrange them from smallest to biggest (ascending order) or biggest to
smallest (descending order). Today we'll practice putting numbers up to 1000 in the correct sequence.
How to Order Numbers
1️⃣ Look at the hundreds place first - bigger hundreds mean bigger numbers
2️⃣ If hundreds are the same, check the tens place next
3️⃣ If tens are the same too, look at the ones place to decide
Let's Practice Together!
