Understanding Number Order
Numbers are like stepping stones across a river!
When we put numbers in order from smallest to biggest, we're creating a path that helps us count, compare, and understand how numbers relate to each other. Let's learn how to arrange numbers up to 100 correctly!
How to Order Numbers
1️⃣ Look at the first digit (the tens place) - bigger numbers come later
2️⃣ If first digits are the same, look at the second digit (the ones place)
3️⃣ Check your sequence - each number should be just 1 more than the one before it
Let's Practice Together!

Parent Tips 🌟
- Make it a game: Create number cards and have races to put them in order - use a timer for extra fun!
- Connect to real life: Practice with house numbers, page numbers in books, or prices at the store.
- Use visual aids: A hundred chart is a great tool - have your child color patterns they notice in number order.
