Understanding Comparing and Ordering
Numbers can be friends that stand in line from smallest to
biggest!
Comparing means looking at two numbers to see which is bigger or smaller. Ordering means putting numbers
in a line from smallest to biggest or biggest to smallest. We use special signs like > (greater than), <
(less than), and=(equal to) to compare numbers.
How to Compare Numbers
1️⃣ Look at the digits from left to right
2️⃣ Compare each digit to see which number is bigger
3️⃣ Use the correct sign: >, <, or=
