What Makes Numbers Even or Odd?
Numbers can be divided into two special teams: evens and odds!
Even numbers are friendly numbers that can be split into two equal groups with no leftovers. Odd numbers are a bit different - when you try to split them, there's always one left over!
How to Tell if a Number is Even or Odd
1️⃣ Look at the last digit of the number
2️⃣ If it's 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8 → It's EVEN!
3️⃣ If it's 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9 → It's ODD!

Parent Tips 🌟
- Use everyday objects: Have your child group small items (like buttons or coins) into pairs to see if there's a leftover.
- Make it physical: Hop on even numbers and clap on odd numbers while counting aloud.
- Look for patterns: Point out how even numbers alternate with odd numbers in street addresses or page numbers.
