What is Skip-counting?
Skip-counting is counting by numbers other than 1!
Instead of counting 1, 2, 3, 4... we can count by 2s (2, 4, 6, 8...) or 5s (5, 10, 15, 20...). It's like taking big jumps through the number line!
How to Skip-count
1️⃣ Choose your jump size (like 2, 5, or 10)
2️⃣ Start from your first number
3️⃣ Keep adding the same number each time
