Seasons

Discover how the Earth's tilt creates our four wonderful seasons!

What Are Seasons?

Seasons are the four different times of year with special weather patterns.
The Earth is like a spinning top that's slightly tilted! This tilt makes different parts of our planet get more or less sunlight at different times of year, creating the seasons we know and love.

The Four Seasons

1️⃣ Spring - When flowers bloom

2️⃣ Summer - The warmest season

3️⃣ Fall/Autumn - Leaves change color

4️⃣ Winter - The coldest season

Parent Tips 🌟

  • Seasonal Calendar: Create a seasonal calendar with your child marking important seasonal events (first snowfall, first flowers, etc.) to observe patterns.
  • Nature Walks: Take walks in different seasons and collect items (leaves, flowers, pinecones) to compare seasonal changes.
  • Temperature Tracking: Keep a simple temperature chart for a week in each season to compare how temperatures change.
