When dividing by 2-digit numbers, we use the same long division method but with slightly bigger numbers. The key is to estimate carefully and check your work as you go.
The Division Steps
1️⃣ Divide: Estimate how many times the divisor fits into the dividend
2️⃣ Multiply: Multiply the divisor by your estimate
3️⃣ Subtract: Subtract this from your current dividend
4️⃣ Bring down the next digit and repeat!

Example 2: Book Pages Challenge
A book has 345 pages. If you read 15 pages each day, how many days will it take to finish the book?
Let's solve: 345 ÷ 15 = ?
15 ) 345
15 goes into 34 two times (15 × 2 = 30)
34 - 30 = 4
Bring down the 5 → 45
15 goes into 45 three times (15 × 3 = 45)
45 - 45 = 0
Answer: 23 days to finish the book!
