Understanding Equivalent Fractions
Did you know that different fractions can represent the same amount?
Fractions are equivalent when they have the same value, even if they look different. For example, \(\frac{1}{2}\) is the same as \(\frac{2}{4}\) or \(\frac{3}{6}\). They all represent half of something!
How to Find Equivalent Fractions
1️⃣ Multiply the numerator and denominator by the same number
2️⃣ Divide the numerator and denominator by the same number
