Understanding Sums and Differences
Numbers can be friends that work together in special ways!
Sometimes we need to find two numbers that add up to a certain total (sum), or two numbers where one minus the other gives a specific result (difference). This skill helps with mental math and solving real-world problems!
How to Find Number Pairs
1️⃣ For sums: Think of number bonds that make your target
2️⃣ For differences: Imagine moving up or down a number line
3️⃣ Check your answer: Always add or subtract to verify
