Equivalent Fractions Review

Discover how different fractions can represent the same amount!

What Are Equivalent Fractions?

Equivalent fractions are different fractions that represent the same value!
Imagine you have half a pizza. If you cut each half into two pieces, you now have two quarters (2/4) of the pizza. Even though the numbers are different, 1/2 and 2/4 represent the same amount of pizza - they're equivalent!

How to Find Equivalent Fractions

1️⃣ Multiply the numerator and denominator by the same number

2️⃣ Divide the numerator and denominator by the same number (if possible)

3️⃣ Simplify fractions to their lowest terms to see equivalence
