Parent Tips 🌟
- Use real-life examples: Cooking measurements (½ cup of flour), sharing snacks (¼ of a chocolate bar), or dividing time (¾ of an hour) make fractions tangible.
- Visual aids help: Draw circles or rectangles divided into parts to visually represent fractions of whole numbers.
- Connect to multiplication: Show how finding ¾ of 12 is the same as (12 ÷ 4) × 3 to reinforce the relationship between fractions and multiplication/division.
